2006 black tobiano mare
We bred 'Tigg' in 2011 and got a wonderful red roan colt/gelding from her. She is an excellent, protective mother and her colt is extremely big and stout. Since she was a maiden mare, we were pleasantly surprised, since the first foal does tend to be just a bit smaller. Tigg was broke to ride as a late 2 year old/early 3 year old. She actually was one of the trainer's favorites, since she was so quiet...yet extremely responsive and willing to learn. Because of that we did NOT breed her back to 2013, but are selling her as a riding horse instead. If not sold before spring, 2013, she will go back to a trainer so they can put a lot of trail miles on her. At that point, her price will increase according to the cost of her training.
This mare is well mannered and nice to be around. Friendly. 100% sound to ride and/or breed. Like most horses after they've not been ridden for a few years, she will need a 'refresher course' (unless you are an experienced horse person or are simply looking for a well bred, well mannered broodmare)....but I think you will really like this one.....
May, 2013. Bred to dble homozygous stallion - Kash
SUPER nice black tobiano filly!
Bred to Pepsis Color Master for 2015.
WOW. Not sure I could have designed a more perfect filly than the one Tigg had this year. Not only is this filly conformationally ideal, she is a grulla tobiano WITH the crème gene AND double homozygous!
Tigg has produced several amazing foals for us. She's a 'keeper'. We bred her to Diaman H Straits Boon for 2016. 2016 could be quite interesting......
2016 Tigg gave us yet another outstanding filly! Hoping it's blue roan....but starting to look like it's black (tobiano)
Tigg is bred to Pepsis Color Master for 2017.
So, after giving us an amazing buckskin/dun double homozygous colt in 2017, Tigg deserved a year off. We did not breed her back this year.
Bred to Pepsis Color Master for 2019.
